Low Fat Whole Wheat Pumpkin Muffins

A healthy treat for breakfast or snack.
Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/3 cup apple sauce
3/4 cup brown sugar
4 egg whites
1/3 cup orange juice
1 cup pumpkin puree
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350, and grease muffin pan (or use paper cups)
2. Sift together flours, salt, soda, powder and spices. Set aside.
3. Combind apple sauce, sugar, egg whites, orange juice and pumpkin in a large bowl, mixing well.
4. Slowly as flour mixture to pumpkin mixture. Stir until just combind.
5. Fill muffin pan 2/3 way full with batter (I like to use an ice cream scoop for uniform muffins).
6. Bake for 25 min until toothpick inserted to center comes out clean.
