this is a quick soup i threw together when i was sick and was wanting some hot soup to make me feel better =-)
Ingredients:
15 oz , progresso black beans--drained and rinsed
4 cups fat-free chicken broth, low sodium
3 stalks celery, chopped
6 oz carrots, chopped
14 oz diced tomatoes, like ro-tel
Directions:
1. put all ingredients in pot over medium heat. cook until all ingredients are heated through.
2. optional-add spices like black pepper, hot sauce, cumin, and chili powder.
