very creamy satisfing sauce very little diff from the real thing taste wise. i developrd this when i changed my eating habits to a low fat hi-fibe rand protien diet.. being a retired chef helps a lot, i was able to transform many things others miss out on... i hope y'all enjoy my version of this classic.
Ingredients:
1 cup fat free liquid coffee creamer
8 ounces fat free ricotta cheese
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 teaspoons dry basil
1/2 cup fat-free parmesan cheese (kraft has a good one)
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
Directions:
1. combine all together in a med sauce pan (omit any optionals such as chicken, seafood, or veg) cook over med heat till just bubbling, reduce to low, stir often! IT WILL BURN QUICKLY if mixture is too thick add additional 1/2 & 1/2 add cooked optionals at this time heat aditional 3or 4 min toss w/ cooked pasta of your choice. double recipe if nesessary no adjustments required.
