Ingredients:
3/4 c sugar
4 eggs
3 egg yolks
3 c milk
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
1. heat 1/4 c sugar on stove until melted and light brown, stir frequently
2. pour into 6 ramekins or cups and swirl around sides and bottom
3. Heat milk in seperate pan
4. whisk eggs, egg yolks, milk and vanilla together
5. When milk bubbles on edges, pour 1/4 c of milk into egg mixture to temper it. Keep adding it a small amount at a time to keep eggs from curdling. Pour custard mixture into ramekins.
6. Put ramekins in a pan, and fill pan 1/2 way with water.
7. Put in preheated oven, 325 degrees for 1 hour. Then refrigerate.
