Lotta Nog Eggnog

My favorite liquer to add is Amaretto.
Ingredients:
1 lb powdered sugar
12 eggs
2 quarts cream
4 -8 cups your favorite alcohol (liquor, liquer or mixture)
nutmeg, if desired (optional)
Directions:
1. Separate eggs.
2. Beat egg yolks & sugar until thoroughly mixed.
3. Slowly add 2 cups of your alcohol preference to egg-sugar mixture until mixed.
4. Cover with plastic wrap and let sit for 1 hour.
5. Add cream.
6. Add remaining alcohol mixture to taste.
7. Let chill.
8. Before serving beat eggs whites until soft peaks form and fold into eggnog (or you can beat whites immediately after adding remaining alcohol & add to eggnog and let chill, but this will make it very thick).
9. Sprinkle nutmeg over eggnog if desired.
