The word Lomi is the Hawaiian word for massage, as in the style you prepare this cold salad. This pacific treat is a traditional dish served in Hawaiian parties and family gatherings.
Ingredients:
1/2 lb. salmon, diced 1/2 inch - 1 inch cubes
1 medium tomato, diced
3 to 4 stalks green onions, chopped or 1/4 cup of red onion, minced
1/2 to 1 juice of a lemon
1 - 2 tablespoon of vinegar
1 - 2 tablespoon of dried seasoned seaweed, crumbled
1 hard boiled egg, sliced
salt to taste
Directions:
1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl, refrigerate for about 15 - 30 minutes depending on your taste.
2. Save some of the Seaweed to Garnish on top.
3. Serve.
