Light Chocolate Almond Cookies

Another great cookie that is so tasty and everyone will enjoy -
Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups shortening
1 cup sugar
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
3 tablespoons milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 1/4 cups flour
1/2 cup hershey's low-fat cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chipits milk chocolate chips
1 cup slivered almonds
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Cream shortening, sugars, eggs, milk and vanilla in a large bowl at medium speed of electric mixer until creamy, about 1 minute.
3. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Beat at low speed until blended.
4. Stir in chips and nuts.
5. Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased baking sheet.
6. Bake at 350F for 10-12 minutes. Cool slightly. Remove to cooling rack.
