Ingredients:
1 cup(s) red lentils
3 cup(s) beef broth
1 medium onion, chopped fine
3 tablespoon(s) butter or olive oil
paprika and/or red pepper flakes
3 tablespoon(s) flour
2 cup(s) tomato juice
Directions:
1. Cook lentils in beef broth 45 minutes or until done. Saute onion in oil. Add flour and cook about 3-4 minutes. Add Paprika. Add tomato juice to onion mixture and cook to thicken. Then add onion mixture to cooked lentils. Should be thick soup. Season as needed.
