This has a great taste. Serve with potatoes, greenbeans, and salad. Is better the next day! (adjust the amount of bread crumbs as needed for good texture)
Ingredients:
2 c lentils
4 c water
2 c pepperidge farm country stuffing
1 c onion
3 tbsp steak sauce
4 tbs baco bits
1 cup walnuts
2 tsp salt
2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 cup ketchup
Directions:
1. cook the lentils in the water for 50 minutes. Check it after 30 minutes to makes sure there is enough water. You want it to get thick.
2. Cool for 30 minutes.
3. Saute the onion.
4. Preheat oven 350'
5. Grind up the walnuts in to a very course meal.
6. Combine lentils with remaining ingredients except ketchup.
7. Season to taste.
8. Grease a 9 x 13 pan
9. Press mixture in to pan.
10. Cover with ketchup
11. Bake for 45 minutes.
12. Cool for 15 before serving
