Ingredients:
400 g cooked brown lentils or green lentil
245 g mashed potatoes
100 g bread crumbs
30 g sesame seed
10 g sunflower seed
35 g finely chopped almond or cashew
1 clove garlic, crushed
110 g onion, finely chopped
1 tbsp fresh herb (e.g. basil, oregano, parsely. etc.)
1 salt and pepper
1 tbsp oil (for frying)
Directions:
1. Mix potato and lentils well.
2. Add the breadcrumbs, sesame and sunflower seeds, nuts, onion and garlic.
3. Finely chop the herbs and add to the mixture with salt and pepper.
4. Mix everything together.
5. Divide into portions and form into burger shapes.
6. Heat a little oil in a fry pan and fry the burgers over moderate heat about 5 mins each side.
