Lemonade Nut Bread

Awesome bread. It's sweet and tangy and so moist. Can't go wrong with this delight. I like this for breakfast. I heat it and spread cream cheese over top. Yummy.
Ingredients:
4 tablespoons butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons grated lemon peel
2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
2-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup chopped pecans
4 teaspoons lemon juice
4 tablespoons powdered sugar
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Cream together butter and sugar until fluffy.
3. Add eggs and lemon peel then beat well.
4. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt then add to creamed mixture alternately with milk beating until smooth after each addition.
5. Stir in pecans then pour into greased loaf pan and bake at 350 for 55 minutes.
6. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes.
7. Combine lemon juice and sugar then spoon over top.
8. Remove from pan and cool.
9. Wrap and store overnight.
