This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Hinkle Estate in Arlington Texas in 1992. Ingredients:
1/4 cup olive oil |
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice |
1 clove garlic crushed |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon dried whole basil |
1/2 teaspoon dried whole oregano |
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine olive oil and remaining ingredients in saucepan then stir with wire whisk to blend. 2. Cook over medium heat 3 minutes or until thoroughly heated stirring constantly. 3. Let stand to room temperature before serving. |
