This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Hinkle Estate in Arlington Texas in 1992.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 clove garlic crushed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried whole basil
1/2 teaspoon dried whole oregano
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Directions:
1. Combine olive oil and remaining ingredients in saucepan then stir with wire whisk to blend.
2. Cook over medium heat 3 minutes or until thoroughly heated stirring constantly.
3. Let stand to room temperature before serving.
