these are very easy to make and can be made in advanced. I generally save the lemon halves when I make fresh lemonade and simply clean them out and freeze them till I need them.
Ingredients:
4 scoops lemon gelato
2 lemons, cut in half, hollowed out and cleaned
1 teaspoon candied lemon peel
Directions:
1. Freeze cleaned lemon halves.
2. Once lemon halves are fully frozen, place a scoop of gelato into the lemon cup .
3. Freeze again till firm.
4. Just before serving garnish with candied lemon zest.
