Lemon Chicken

Ingredients:
1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1 lb chicken piece
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup uncooked rice
1/3 cup lemon juice
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Directions:
1. Mix all of the spices & lemon juice in a 1-gallon bag, add chicken pieces, & freeze.
2. To prepare, thaw bag of chicken, preheat trusty oven to 450 degrees.
3. Arrange chicken skin-side down in an 8x8x2-inch bakind dish treated with nonstick spray.
4. Pour liquid over chicken.
5. Bake for 20 minutes.
6. Turn chicken over & baste.
7. Bake for an extra 15 to 20 minutes.
8. Prepare rice according to package directions.
9. Serve chicken over rice.
