Ingredients:
1 cup(s) butter
2 cup(s) cake flour
1 egg white, beaten
1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon(s) lemon extract
4 tablespoon(s) lemon zest
1/2 cup(s) maraschine cherries, chopped
1 cup(s) pecans, finely chopped
1 cup(s) sugar
Directions:
1. Cream butter and sugar together. Add egg yolk and flour, mix. Mix in lemon zest. Pat mixture into a 10 x 15 inch cookie pan. Pat cherries into dough. Brush top with egg white. Cut into squares or diamonds while still warm. Remove from pan when cooled.
