Lemon Buttered Asparagus

A delicious sidedish that is quick and easy. Servings are approximate.
Ingredients:
2 1/2 lbs asparagus
3 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon lemon juice
3/4 teaspoon salt
Directions:
1. Prepare asparagus: hold base of eash stalk firmly and bend. End will break off where stalk becomes tough; discard ends.
2. With a sharp knife or potato peeler, remove scales.
3. Trim rough ends to make even.
4. In 12 inch skillet, over medium heat, melt butter watching so it doesn't burn.
5. Add asparagus, lemon juice and salt.
6. Cover and cook till tender-crisp, about 5 minutes, turning occasionally.
