This is a recipe of my great-grandmother, Agnes Stayton.
Ingredients:
2 lbs flour
1/2 lb butter (1/2 of this for topping)
1/2 cup sugar
grated lemon rind
2 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1 pint warm milk
yeast
pecans
cinnamon
sugar
Directions:
1. Take 1 cup of milk and other half to melt butter- 1/4 lb. Let rise and bake 1/2 hour till dark yellow.
