I adopted this recipe from Rita's Roasted Asparagus With Lavender, Lemon and Garlic. /Roasted-Asparagus-With-Lavender-Lemon-and-Garlic-155205 I needed to make a couple of changes to accommodate my diet, my kids taste and end with an easy cleanup.
Ingredients:
2 lbs asparagus, rough ends snapped off
8 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 lemon, juiced
1/4 teaspoon lemon zest, organic
2 sprigs lavender flowers, organic
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
2. Take heavy duty aluminum foil and lay the asparagus on it. Add all the other ingredients on top. Wrap the foil up and around the asparagus sealing it inches Place it in a casserole dish.
3. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
