Layered Summer Salad With Creamy Vidalia Onion Dressing

This recipe is a little more gourmet than the standard 7 layer salad. You can make your own sun dried tomatoes for a fraction of the cost. the recipe can be found on my page
Ingredients:
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 small vidalia onion, grated
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1/8 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper
8 ounces green beans
1 (14 ounce) can garbanzo beans
2 kirby cucumbers, sliced
2 roasted red peppers, diced
1 head iceberg lettuce
2 cups sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
1 cup crumbled blue cheese
Directions:
1. To make the dressing, combine mayo, buttermilk, onion, celery seed, salt and pepper.
2. Layer veggies and cheese and dressing in a pretty bowl and chill.
