Not so politically correct recipe. Great tasting, but....
Ingredients:
3 c all-purpose flour
1 1/2 ts salt
1 c lard
3 tb margarine
6 tb water
Directions:
1. This recipe makes a double crust. The original recipe, taken from Joy of Cooking, was modified to allow for thicker crusts.
2. Blend flour, salt, lard and margarine with a pastry blender. Add water. Separate the mixture into two balls. Roll each ball into a sheet; one top crust, one bottom crust.
