for the meatballs |
1 lb ground beef |
1 egg -- lightly beaten |
1/2 cup soft bread crumbs |
1 tbls mustard (or to taste) |
1/4 cup milk |
1/2 cup onion – finely chopped |
1 tsp salt (or to taste) |
1 tsp worcestershire sauce |
sauce |
1/2 cup ketchup |
1/2 cup onion – chopped |
1/3 cup sugar |
1/3 cup vinegar |
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce 1/8 tsp pepper |
combine the first 8 ingredients; mix well. |
shape into 1 balls. |
in a skillet over medium heat, brown meatballs; drain. |
place in a 2-1/2 qt baking dish. |
combine sauce ingredients. |
pour over meatballs. bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 50-60 |
minutes or until meatballs are done. |
