Ingredients:
lanas what is it.. lower- fat- no-yeast sweet- biscuit- bun
2 cups sifted plain flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 1/2 tablespoons cold butter
1 egg, beaten
2/3 cup applesauce
1/4 cup sour cream
just enough milk to make a good stiff dough
glaze
1 cup powerered sugar
3 tablespoons real butter(melted)
tiny amount of sweet milk (if needed) it should be a rather thick glaze)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
2. Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
3. Add the sugars and mix.
4. Cut in the butter.
5. Combine the egg, applesauce and sour cream; mix quickly with the dry ingredients.
6. (do NOT over work the dough)
7. Use just enough milk to make a nice stiff but soft dough.
8. Turn out onto a floured surface; knead lightly then roll out dough to 1/2−inch thickness.
9. Spray the baking sheet real well with non-stick spray.
10. Cut into 2−inch rounds and arrange on baking sheet.
11. Bake 15 minutes, or until golden brown.

13. Glaze: Mix powered sugar, butter, and if needed a tiny amount of sweet milk.
14. Mix very well
15. Put in microwave and allow it to just come to a bowl.
16. Stir really well. (it should be a rather thick glaze)
17. Stir often and do not let it run over!
18. Spoon over biscuit/buns!
19. When cooled this will be a delightful solid glaze over the biscuit-bun!
20. Wrap or store in a very large closed container.
