this one is nice to learn now for all the upcoming |
holidays and (sweets) gift giving. |
2 cups sifted confections sugar |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
3 egg whites (very fresh only please) |
2 cups light corn syrup |
1 tablespoon vanilla extract |
in large bowl, beat egg whites |
beat until thick. |
add syrup and salt. |
beat again. |
at low speed, add confectioners sugar. |
add vanilla extract and beat until blended. |
this makes a huge amount and will save you money. |
must be tightly sealed in the refriferator and may keep about 2 weeks. |
(please use extreme care as this contains (uncooked) |
egg whites!) |
