Lanas Country Cream Gravy For Fried Chicken More

Yesty, creamy, tasty, for chicken & more!
Ingredients:
cream gravy
2 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons flour
salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup milk
1 cup water
crispy pieces left in pan after cooking fried chicken
pork chop, or steak. (add last)
Directions:
1. (Please note, I have posted my fried chicken recipe! :)
2. To make cream gravy:
3. (Save all crispy pieces after you cook chicken, fried steak, or pork chops!)
4. Pour off all but about 2 tablespoons of the fat from the skillet.
5. Add 2 tablespoons butter and 4 tablespoons flour; blend and cook until golden brown, scraping browned bits from bottom of skillet.
6. (I use these last)
7. Gradually stir in 1 cup milk and 1 cup hot water. Stir until smooth and thickened; add salt and black pepper.
8. serve with hot biscuits, potatoes, or rice.
