lanas cheddar spread |
1 cup (4 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese |
1 -(8 oz.) cream cheese (slightly softened) |
1 tbsp mustard |
1 tbls mayonnaise |
2 tbsp. very finely chopped green bell pepper |
2 tbsp. very finely chopped pimento |
1/2 tsp garlic powder |
1 cup chopped, toasted pecans, divided into two |
portions (1/2 cup is optional. ) |
in small bowl stir cheddar cheese, cream cheese, mustard and |
mayo, ppepper, pimento and garlic..half of the pecans until well |
blended. |
shape cheese mixture into a ball; coat with remaining pecans(optional) . |
cover; chill 1 hour to blend flavors. |
optional : dash hot sauce |
serve with crackers and veggie dippers |
