Use in any recipe calling for sweetened condensed milk; equivalent to two cans. If you are trying to reduce sugar in your diet, you can omit the sugar. Adapted from Copycat Borden's Sweetened Condensed Milk. Soymilk powder can be found in most health-food or bulk stores.
Ingredients:
1 cup powdered soymilk
1 1/3 cups boiling water
4 tablespoons margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup sugar (optional)
Directions:
1. Combine everything in blender; process until smooth and creamy.
2. Let stand at room temperature until cooled.
3. Store in an airtight container in refrigerator or freezer.
