Wonderful, smooth dressing. My friends either have me give them some out of my batch or ask for the recipe. This recipe makes about 1 gallon of dressing. We never waste a bit. My favorite is a chunky garden salad, blue cheese and topped with this sweet and tangy homemade dressing. I received this recipe from my grandmother. Ingredients:
1 1/2 quarts oil |
2 (8 ounce) cans tomato paste |
1 teaspoon garlic salt |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon celery salt |
4 cups sugar |
2 cups vinegar |
1 grated yellow sweet onion |
Directions:
1. Mix together in a large container and store in the refrigerator.
