Koo-koo For Cocoa Bread

Go koo-koo for cocoa bread since it's made with one of my favorite cereals... Cocoa Puffs!! This recipe came from Ruby Ann's Down Home Trailer Park Cookbook.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup finely ground cocoa puffs cereal
1/4 cup white granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
3 tablespoons solid vegetable shortening(crisco)
1 yeast cake
1/4 cup lukewarm water
3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
Directions:
1. Mix the COCOA PUFFS, sugar and salt.
2. Add the milk, which has been scalded, and the shortening.
3. Let stand until lukewarm and add the yeast, which has been softened in the lukewarm water.
4. Add enough flour to make a dough that can be handled and knead until smooth and elastic.
5. Let rise until doubled in bulk
6. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees F.
