sometimes i get so busy cooking for guests that i feel like that is all i am doing! it's nice to be able to cheat and make something earlier - it's a real time saver and gives me a chance to enjoy my company (or make something else for them |
start by either baking or deep-frying chicken wings. cool; and refrigerate. |
when ready to enjoy the wings |
2 1/4 cups honey |
2 1/4 cups diced red sweet peppers |
1 cup rice wine vinegar |
1 cup pineapple juice |
1 1/2 tsp garlic salt |
1 1/2 tsp bottled hot pepper sauce |
combine ingredients in saucepan and simmer (stirring) until thickened. |
place wings in single layer in baking dish; pour sauce over; place in preheated 350* f. oven for about 15 minutes - or until wings are well glazed. |
serve with plenty of napkins |
this will do 4 1/2 - 5 lbs. wings or try it on chicken legs |
