King Arthur's Apple Cinnamon Breakfast Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup baker's special dry milk
  • 1/4 cup potato flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 1/2 tsp instant yeast
  • 1/2 cup wheat germ nuts
  • 1/2 cup cinnamon flav-r-bite
  • 3/4 cup apple nugget
  • 1 1/3-1 1/2 cups water

Directions:

  1. *Use the lesser amount in the summer, the greater amount in the winter, and something in between in the spring and fall.
  2. Place all of the ingredients into the pan of your bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer.
  3. Program for basic white bread, and press Start. Check the dough's consistency about 7 min.
  4. After the kneading cycle begins, adding additional water of flour to form a smooth, soft ball of dough.
  5. Allow the machine to complete its cycle. Remove the b read when it's done, and let it cool completely before slicing.
  6. Note: This bread makes great toast!
