A recipe for a Pakistani Dish I found in one of my old ground meat cookbooks. It's pretty good.
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 garlic clove, minced
1 cup chopped onion
2 raw potatoes, peeled and cubed
2 teaspoons curry
1 dash pepper
2 tomatoes, peeled and cubed
1 (10 ounce) package frozen peas
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
hot cooked rice
flaked coconut
Directions:
1. In skillet cook beef, onion, and garlic till meat is browned; pour off fat.
2. Stir in remaining ingredients except coconut and rice.
3. Cover; simmer 20-25 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
4. Sprinkle with coconut.
5. Serve with hot cooked rice.
