I found this recipe on a couples sight called cooking up love. These are mouth watering and tender. Im not really a fan of ribs because theyre so messy but these are worth it! COOK TIME DOESNT INCLUDE MARINATE TIME! LAST 7 INGREDIENTS ARE FOR RUB!
Ingredients:
1 lb pork baby back ribs
9 ounces of your favorite barbecue sauce (about 1/2 the bottle)
vegetable oil cooking spray
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons paprika
1 1/2 teaspoons pepper
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Directions:
1. Prepare your pan by lining it with alumninum foil. Spray the foil with the cooking spray.
2. Take the ribs out of the package and rinse with cool water. Dry with a paper towel and set in the foil lined pan. If you have purchased a rib rack, cut the rack into pieces with 3 or 4 ribs per piece, leaving meat on both sides of the bone.
3. Make the rub by mixing all ingredients together. Pour onto ribs and rub into the meat and marinate for 4 hours to overnight in refrigerator. Take ribs out of refrigerator and pour barbeque sauce over the top, coating the ribs on all sides. Marinate for 2 or more hours in the refrigerator.
4. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F. Bake the ribs for 2 hours and 30 minutes and check during the last 30 minutes to see if the ribs need to be basted with more barbeque sauce. Remove from oven.
5. At this point, you can choose to finish the ribs on the grill to add grill marks and a nice smoky flavor. Baste with more barbeque sauce and grill (over a preheated grill) for 3 - 5 minutes over medium heat. Watch closely because the sauce will carmelize quickly and blacken.
