This dip is requested at every party we attend! It is spicy, creamy, and packed full of flavor.........You will bring your crockpot home empty everytime! I always make extra because my DH says he never gets his fill at the party so he wants some for when he gets home!
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef, browned and drained
1 lb ground pork, browned and drained
1 medium onion, diced
1 jalapeno, diced
1 tablespoon olive oil
16 ounces sour cream
1 (16 ounce) package of hot velveeta mexican cheese
2 (1 1/4 ounce) packages hot taco seasoning
4 (15 ounce) cans hot hormel chilli with beans (do not drain)
1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes (do not drain)
Directions:
1. In large pot over med to high heat add oil, when hot saute onion and jalapeno pepper until translucent.
2. Add browned pork and beef and sprinkle taco seasoning, add all 4 cans of chili, tomatoes and chunked up cheese.
3. Stir until cheese is melted
4. At the very end stir sour cream in and mix until well blended.
5. Pour dip into large crockpot and set on low.
6. Stir dip occassionally depending on how hot your crockpot gets you may have to watch it closely.
7. Dip is much better if kept medium warm.
8. We like to use the scoopable chips.
