A SUPER MOIST cake with a great lime flavor. Perfect for bbq's, parties, or just hanging out!
Ingredients:
1 stick butter, softened
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 can key lime pie filling
1/3 c milk
2 c flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. grease 13x9 inch pan
3. Cream together butter, sugar and vanilla
4. Add eggs and combine
5. Add Key lime pie filling and milk, combine.
6. In a separate bowl, combine flour baking powder and baking soda.
7. Add dry ingredients to wet, combine well.
8. Batter will be THICK!
9. Add to pan and bake for about 35 mins, until done and starting to turn golden brown. Cool.
10. For additional sweetness cake can be glazed...try adding lime juice to your favorite glaze for an extra punch of lime.
