this is a great one for all who like a little kick in their food, of course if you like things more on the mild side you can always make your own adjustments.
Ingredients:
1 large onion
2 pounds ground beef
8 cups kidney beans (cooked)
2 - 28 oz. cans crushed tomatoes
1 - 28 oz. can diced tomatoes
2 - 6 oz. cans tomato paste
3 tbls. sea salt
5 tbls. ground cumin
1 tsp white pepper
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup molasses
1 bulb garlic (roasted in oven till soft)
1/2 cup worsheshire sauce
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup chili powder
1 tbls garlic powder
1 tbls onion powder
1/2 tbls red pepper flakes
1/8 cup chopped jalopenoes
Directions:
1. cook beef and onions in large skillet
2. put with rest of ingredients in 3 gallon pot
3. simmer for at least 4 hours
4. very nice served with a dallop of sour cream or plain yogurt on top
