Kaye's Mexican Casserole Verde

Adapted from Tastes for All Seasons byh Crye-Leike.
Ingredients:
2 lbs lean ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 (15 ounce) cans green enchilada sauce
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
2 (4 ounce) cans cans diced green chilies
1 bunch green onion, chopped
8 ounces longhorn cheddar cheese (can use more, i do!)
1 (15 ounce) package plain doritos
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400*F.
2. Brown meat with chopped onion and minced garlic; drain.
3. Add green chilies, mushroom and chicken soups and 1 can of enchilada sauce to meat and simmer.
4. Spray deep dish with cooking oil.
5. Layer ingredients with Doritos, pouring a little enchilada sauce over each layer.
6. Finish with a layer of cheese.
7. Cook for 45 to 50 minutes.
8. Let cool 10 minutes to set up.
