~A topper to place on grilled turkey burgers~
Ingredients:
1 cup jicama,julienned
1 cup purple cabbage,shredded fine
1 cup yellow sweet pepper,julienned
1 cup red sweet pepper,julienned
1 cup orange sweet pepper,julienned
1 cup tender snow peas,julienned
1 cup edamame,cooked and removed from their jackets,coarsley chopped
mix in bowl,the following ingredients to be poured over the top of above items
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
3 tablespoon hot sauce
3 tablespoon sesame oil
3 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
1/4 cup pistachios,toasted and chopped
allow all to stand to mingle flavors.
remove soilds from the liquid and place on top of grilled turkey burgers.
'ground turkey that has been mixed with cooked brown rice,chopped cashews,low sodium soy sauce,honey,sliced green onions (with tops)minced garlic,and sesame oil.form into paddies,and brush with hoisin sauce as you grill or pan fry them.
'serve with the kaleidoscope slaw,on top of turkey burger,inside a buttered,toasted bun.
