Just Great Meatloaf

Always get rave reviews for this meatloaf. Can serve at a dinner party with another meat course or use for Once-a-Month cooking and freeze the other loaf. Use leftovers for yummy sandwiches.
Ingredients:
2 lbs ground beef (top round or sirloin)
1 lb ground veal
1 lb ground pork
1 cup cottage cheese
1 cup fresh breadcrumb
1 1/2 cups finely chopped onions
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup finely chopped green pepper
1/2 cup chili sauce
salt, pepper to taste
1/2 cup red wine
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1/2 cup chili sauce
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 400 degrees.
2. Combine beef, veal and pork in large bowl; mix thoroughly.
3. Add the cottage cheese, bread crumbs, onion, eggs, green pepper and 1/2 cup chili sauce.
4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
5. Divide mixture in half and place into two 9-by-5-inch loaf pans.
6. Pour 1/4 cup of the wine over each meatloaf.
7. Mix the tomato sauce and 1/2 cup chili sauce in small bowl.
8. Spread half of the mixture over each meatloaf.
9. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes, basting frequently with pan juices.
10. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees and bake another 50 to 60 minutes, until juices run clear.
