A perfect way to end the evening meal, this cake will be a delightful addition to your dinner able!
Ingredients:
any flavor pie filling (9 oz. can)
1 (19-0z) can of crushed pineapple with juice
1 box prepared cake mix
1/2 cup butter
optional ingredients
1 cup coconut flakes and/or 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Directions:
1. Lightly grease desired type of cake pan...
2. PLACE THESE INGREDIENTS IN THE PAN IN ORDER GIVEN- DO NOT MIX.
3. 1. bottom layer - any flavor pie filling (9 oz. can)
4. 2. pour over filling 1 (19-0z) can of crushed pineapple with juice
5. 3. sprinkle evenly and flavor cake mix you like (1 box prepared cake mix)
6. 4. melt 1/2 cup butter - pour this over the cake mix
7. Bake this at 350*F approximately 45 minutes or until nicely browned.
8. Cool on rack.
9. Serve plain or with ice cream, or whipped cream.
