This sauce accompanies the mincemeat streusel bread pudding.
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons vanilla custard powder
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
2/3 cup 2% evaporated milk
1/2 cup water
Directions:
1. In a small saucepan combine the custard powder, sugar, milk and water.
2. Place over medium heat, bring to a boil, stirring constantly until thickened.
3. Serve warm or cool over mincemeat streusel bread pudding.
