Jello and Cool Whip Frosting |

Easy and yummy frosting - good on angel food cake. I don't know where Mom got this recipe (maybe she made it up), but this was our most requested cake and frosting for birthdays. Ingredients:
3 ounces jello gelatin, any flavor |
3/4 cup boiling water |
1 cup cold water |
8 ounces cool whip |
Directions:
1. Make jello as directed on package except using 3/4 cup boiling water instead of 1 cup so the jello is a little thicker.
2. After jello is set, beat with mixer until there are small pieces. Add cool whip and beat until completely mixed. Spread on angel food cake. Keep refrigerated until time to serve.
