Ingredients:
6 apples halved
1/2 lemon sliced
2 cups water
2 cups granulated sugar
Directions:
1. Place apples skin side down in flat pan then add lemon and water.
2. Cover and boil briskly until apples are tender.
3. Add sugar and continue boiling until syrup thickens.
4. Serve in flat dish and pour syrup over apples.
