Japanese Chicken Legs And Or Thighs

Ingredients:
8 chicken legs or thighs ( due to the time to cook i wouldn't mix)
1 cup water
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
1/3 cup soy sauce
2 1/2 tbs. sugar
1 clove garlic,peled and smashed
1 hot chili,seeded or 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
Directions:
1. plase all of the ingredients in a sauce pan over high heat.bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes,skim any scum that rises to the surface
2. increase heat, turning chicken frequently in sauce and cook till liquid is reduced to a sticky glaze
3. remove chili and garlic and serve , spooning glaze over chicken
