We never knew where the recipe came from. My mother-in-law brought it to every family gathering and was devoured! Now it's a staple at our Christmas buffet.
Ingredients:
1 lb bulk sausage
2 c chopped sweet onion
1 can tomato soup
1 6oz. can tomato paste
1/3 c water
1 c brown sugar (packed)
2 t mustard
1 can (approx. 16 oz. ea.) wax beans, green beans, butter beans, kidney beans, chili beans (mild or hot - depends on your taste), and pork & beans
Directions:
1. Brown Sausage and drain. 2. Drain most of the liquid off beans (doesn't matter if not completely drained) 3. Dump all in crock pot 4. Cook for at least 6 hours 5. (Can be prepared the night before to save time)
