Janets Super Healthy Muffins

Full of omega 3 and bran and free of refined sugar, this super-healthy muffin is still a big hit with family.
Ingredients:
1 cup rolled oats or granola cereal of any kind
1 cup water
2 tablespoons powdered milk
2 omega 3 eggs
1 snack container apple sauce
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup wheat or oat bran
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup cut apple sliced thin or raisins or currants
2 tsp cinnamon
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2. Combine oats or cereal with water and powdered milk and let sit for ten minutes.
3. Add eggs and beat well.
4. Add apple sauce and olive oil and mix well.
5. Measure the flour, salt, and baking powder on top of the wet ingredients.
6. Stir the dry ingredients together lightly with your fingers.
7. Mix the wet with the dry, stirring only enough to dampen.
8. Fill your muffin cups. I use silicon muffin trays, so easy. No greasing required.
9. Bake for 400 degrees for twenty minutes.
