This is a fast easy recipe that uses lots of canned ingredients.
Ingredients:
1 lb sausage (emeril's kicked up sausage)
1 cup brown rice
1/4 cup butter
1 (10 ounce) can french onion soup
2 (10 ounce) cans chicken broth
1/4 cup green onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 lb sliced mushrooms
1 lb shrimp
1 (10 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
2 (10 ounce) cans rotel tomatoes, mild
2 (5 ounce) cans ham
1 teaspoon parsley
Directions:
1. In large roaster, melt butter and add mushrooms, green onion, pepper, and parsley.
2. Add soups, broth, and other ingredients.
3. Bring to a boil and cook until rice is tender.
