I was watching Jamie Oliver make stuff the other day and he made a salad dressing in a jam jar. I've been doing that for years, and I will bet you have, too! Here are four easy ones.
Ingredients:
french dressing
get out a clean jelly or jam jar with a lid.
peel and chop 1/4 clove garlic.
in the jar put the garlic, 1 tsp dijon mustard, 2 tbsp white or red wine vinegar, 6 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, pinch of sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
shake it up
yogurt dressing
grab another clean jam or jelly jar.
in the jar put 6 tbsp natural yogurt, 2 tbsp white or red wine vinegar, 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, pinch of sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.
shake, shake, shake! shake, shake, shake! shake your bootie. shake your bootie
Directions:
1. Lemon Dressing:
2. You know the drill: a clean jam or jelly jar.
3. Put in 6 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil, pinch of sea salt, freshly ground black pepper, and the juice of 1 medium to large lemon.
4. Bend over, let me see you shake a tail feather!
5. Balsamic Dressing:
6. Jam or jelly jar.
7. 6 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil, 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar, pinch of sea salt, freshly ground black pepper.
8. Shivers up my backbone. Shakin' all over!
9. **You can pour them into recycled salad dressing jars to save space in your fridge.
