Italian Vegetable Soup

Simple but delicious veggie soup with meat and tomato base. Serve with garlic bread and lots of parmesan cheese. One of my mom's favorites. Awesome leftovers.
Ingredients:
2 lbs ground meat (beef, pork, turkey, or any combination thereof)
2 cups beef stock
2 large cans diced tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
red wine, to taste
1 large bay leaf
handful of chopped parsley (dry or fresh)
1 or 2 cans of green beans
3-4 sliced carrots
3-4 sliced celery stalks, with diced tops/leaves/hearts
2-3 sliced small zucchini
Directions:
1. Brown the meat, drain fat
2. Add wine to meat first & let boil for awhile to cook off alcohol.
3. Add the rest of the stuff
4. Simmer at least 30 minutes, even better if you can give it an hour.
