Italian Meatloaf

This is my favorite for a cold evening, great for sandwiches the next day
Ingredients:
1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground pork
2 slices rye bread (or whatever you have on hand)
2 slices white bread
1 egg
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon garlic
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. Soak 4 slices of bread in water for 2 minutes. Squeeze water out of the bread slices.
3. Mix together all ingredients except tomato sauce and place in a bread/meatloaf baking pan.
4. Bake in oven for 45 minutes; pour can of tomato sauce over top of meatloaf and continue baking for additional 45 minutes.
