This dish is so easy and the garlic gives it a great taste.
Ingredients:
6 -8 ounces dried lentils
8 cups water
1/2 cup olive oil
1 onion, quartered
1 cup chopped celery
1 tablespoon tomato paste
4 -6 cloves garlic, peeled
2 bay leaves
salt and pepper
Directions:
1. Rinse lentils and drain.
2. Place all ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil.
3. Reduce heat,cover and simmer for 2 hour.
4. Remove bay leaves and adjust salt and pepper if necessary.
